Permanent colour is being used a lot when it’s not needed and this causes a massive problem for grow out and also future colour appointments! Opt for a Demi colour if your under 40% grey this will just give you a soft coverage and your grow out will not be the harsh line you have now. It looks so much more natural that a full coverage perminant and will look a lot softer against your skin!

Roots seem harsher every time?

This is because of the build up caused by permanant colour. 3-4 week appointments will cause a massive amount of overlap on the hair and this will then develop into banding!

Don’t even get me started on combing the colour through 🫣
The most pointless process ever! Does absolutely nothing but add banding to your hair and cause problems for future lifting!

Going lighter isn’t for everyone!

Be very careful with this one! If you are lightening your hair to blend your greys without a correct grey blending plan, you will just end up being over highlighted! This then creates another problem all together with ladies saying they just felt everything looked ‘off’ on them once they were too light. Also another root line! Highlights don’t provide longevity in between colours!

🍂Kate is an Autumn colour analysis

which means she suits warm but muted tones…

Her current colour is far too bright for her skintone and stands out in stark contrast. I’ve softened the colour giving an overall more natural result.

Here’s the compromise : Her white hair at the front isn’t going anywhere so I’d mimick that area of her natural growth…. However this wouldn’t suit Kate as an all over colour she still needs some warmth as this will bring out her eyes and keep that youthful look in her skin,
But by warmth I mean muted warmth think beige tones not yellowy!

You’ll be amazed at how clean your colour will stay by investing In a detox product! Purple shampoo is a no from me, it will only dull your colour and is so bad for your hair! Especially if it’s already damaged the last thing you want to do is dry it out further!
Opt for a colour depositing mask instead this will add moisture as well as that hit of neautralisation your colour needs!
